What are we all about?

Bells of Lazonby is a family business and we have been around for 60 years now... that's a lot of time and experience in bread and cake making. John Bell started off working as a one man band making and delivering bread and cakes to the doorsteps of many family homes in Cumbria which, lets be honest, is 60 years sooner than tesco.com! The innovation continues with our team of experts, who are constantly trying out new recipes and finding different ways to spread the word about our new and existing products - even the Queen recognised our ability when we were awarded the Queens Award for Enterprise in 2006.

Our capabilities in terms of baking are endless... from organic recipes for our Village Bakery brand (www.village-bakery.com), to Gluten, Wheat and Dairy Free recipes which cater for our customers with special dietry requirements (www.ok-foods.co.uk) and obviously not forgetting our good old fashioned traditional baking at Bells of Lazonby, well less of the old fashioned and more of the good!

We now have an extensive range of products, from Rolls and Bread (including a large sandwich range), to Cakes Slices and our new delicious Indulgent Cake range! We also do exciting Christmas and Easter ranges.
